High above Berkeley is one of the oldest menagerie wooden carousels in America. It turns into a "Winter Wonderland," surrounded by Christmas trees, covered in ornaments. Add hot cider or chocolate. Buy an ornament or two.

About the event
Enjoy a holiday evening at this beautiful carousel amidst the Christmas trees & holiday lights, followed by dinner at Cugini's on Solano Avenue in Berkeley. You can join us for one event or both.
Your host, Kathryn Levenson, will meet you at the entrance to the Tilden Carousel at 5:30 pm. Dress warmly, but no worries about rain. The area is paved from the parking lot, up the walkway to the covered carousel area. There is a snack shop where you can buy hot drinks, popcorn, ornaments from the trees, and other goodies. The carousel is a family business so I like to support them. There are restrooms on the other side of the parking lot.
You can stroll with your hot drink, enjoy watching the families on the carousel, or buy a ticket to ride the historic carousel. I love the music.
