About the event

Meet us by the picnic tables in front of the Visitor Center. There are also restrooms there. Bring a hat, water, sunscreen, binoculars (if you have them), and download the Merlin ID app. Migration season is underway. We have been having some exciting sightings. Birders of all levels are welcome. Binoculars are available to borrow. Wheelchair accessible.


THERE IS A 22% CHANCE OF RAIN. THE SHOW WILL GO ON, BUT COME PREPARED WITH A RAIN JACKET & COLLAPSIBLE UMBRELLA. THERE IS ALSO A VISITOR CENTER BUILDING ABOVE THE PICNIC TABLES. IN CASE OF TOO MUCH RAIN, WE HAVE INDOOR BIRD ID ACTIVITIES PLANNED.


The parking charge is $5. Carpooling is encouraged. Drive to the farthest parking lot up by the Visitor Center. Your host is willing to pick up a few people from the Union City BART around 920 am. https://www.ebparks.org/parks/coyote-hills for more information.
